Columbia Police Investigate Shots fired in the 700 block of North 6th St

COLUMBIAMO (STL.News)  At approximately 4 a.m. on Aug. 9, Columbia Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 700 block of North Sixth Street.  Callers to Boone County Joint Communications reported that the suspects were in a red box-shaped vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings and property damage to a white 2004 Chevy Silverado.  There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.

This is an ongoing investigation and has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division.
