Candicci’s Restaurant to donate more money to Flamion family

BALLWIN, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – Last week it was announced that several restaurants in the Ballwin, MO area had joined together to raise money for Ballwin police officer Mike Flamion.  Flamion was shot in the neck during a routine traffic stop.  We do not know the outcome of the other participating restaurants except for Candicci’s Restaurant and Bar, however, Candicci’s announced that they had overwhelming sales numbers that will benefit the family.

Candicci’s would like to express their sincere appreciation for the support that the community has illustrated to help Flamion.  “We want to do all we can to help the family,” say Bob Candice, manager of Candicci’s.

During the Dine Out event this past Monday additional information was released about officer Flamion’s condition.  Flamion’s condition was described as “catastrophic” and Flamion will require “extensive” long-term medical care.  The situation is tragic for Flamion and his family.

In a situation like this there is not such a thing as too much help.  In fact, the community should never stop helping the Flamion family.  In light of the new information about Flamion’s tragic condition Candicci’s has announced that they will donate 10% of sales this coming Friday, July 22nd and Friday, July 29th to Flamion’s family.  “We just want to help as much as possible and this is the way for us to do it,”says Candice.

For those that were not able to dine at Candicci’s this past Monday due to the overwhelming turnout, Candicci’s does apologize and have created two more days that you can visit them and know that a portion of the proceeds will go to help the family.   If you can’t visit Candicci’s on these two day you can visit the GoFundMe page to donate money.  The GoFundMe Goal is $325,000 and they have reached $276,440.
