Physicians recommend medical marijuana to patients for various treatments. It is administered using many methods such as capsules, lozenges, tinctures, dermal patches, oral sprays, dermal sprays, cannabis edibles, and vaporizing or smoking.
As of September 2018, an estimated 31 states and the District of Columbia have legalized marijuana (cannabis) for medical purposes, which began with California in 1996.
While many states have legalized it for medical purposes, it remains illegal for any use under federal law. The Rohradbacker-Farr amendment enacted in late 2014 limited federal law’s ability to be enforced in states in states that marijuana is legalized.
It has been presented that medical marijuana is effective for treatment for many reasons, including, Chemotherapy-induced nausea & vomiting.
