It is an American stock exchange located in New York City. It is the world’s largest stock exchange measured by market capitalization, exceeding $21 Trillion in 2017. NYSE was founded on May 17, 1792, making it 226 years old as of 2018.
The main building is one of the most recognizable buildings in the United States, added to the National Historic Landmarks in 1978.
