Florida Lottery: James Shelmon Wins $5 Million Top Prize

Tallahassee, FL (STL.News) The Florida Lottery announces that James Shelmon, 69, of Chattahoochee, claimed a $5 million top prize from the 200X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.  He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $4,450,000.00.

Shelmon purchased his winning ticket from C Store, located at 42 East Washington Road in Chattahoochee.  The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
