Spend a Cold January Afternoon at Schlafly’s Winter Beer Festival

ST LOUIS, MO/January 4, 2017 (STL.News) The holidays are over and winter is definitely here with temperatures plummeting into the single digits.  With it being so cold, nobody wants to venture out very far, but you can only stay inside so long before you get bored and antsy for some fun.  Well, the perfect event to put some warmth back into your system and spirit is right around the corner and it’s in the way of Schlafly’s Cabin Fever-Winter Beer Festival.

What better way to spend a cold afternoon in January!  Held outside in the Bottleworks Biergarten in Maplewood, the festival will melt away all those winter blues!  Guests will have the opportunity to sample from 40 of Schlafly’s favorite styles ranging from their seasonal to year rounds to high gravity winter warmers.  It’s a great way to hang out with your old friends, make new friends in the New Year and just have an awesome time.

Cabin Fever is celebrating its 16th year and besides featuring many of your favorite beers, there will also be tasty food and live music to shake things up!  The music lineup will feature Sean Canan’s Voodoo Players from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Keep in mind, great beer is to be enjoyed with great friends!  And with over 40+ of your favorite styles that are guaranteed to warm you up on a frigid winter day and put a big smile on your face, you can’t go wrong.  This festival is for the true winter warriors who aren’t afraid of the cold, so remember to bundle up since you’ll be outside.

Tasting Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of event.  Tickets include unlimited Schlafly Beer samples from noon to 4:00 p.m., a commemorative tasting glass and full access to the festival grounds where you’ll enjoy live music, food and more beer.  This outdoor winter beer festival features some of the strongest Schlafly beers.

To make sure you can enjoy yourself but get home safely, please consider taking St. Louis Metro Transit to and from the Schlafly Beer event.  There are Metrolink stops conveniently located near both of their breweries. It’s easy, affordable, and most of all, it’s safe.
