Sugarfire Smoke House Owners to Open burger joint Hi-Pointe Drive-In

St. Louis, MO/December 29, 2016 (STLRestaurant.News) – Hi-Pointe Drive-In is being built at the old location of Del Taco on McCausland and Ethel Avenues in St. Louis. They could be finished with the build in three to four weeks as of November 1st, 2016.

The restaurant will feature burgers and sandwiches. If you are a Sugarfire fan, you will recognize the burgers from the local Sugarfire restaurants. You know the ones, thin patties seared on a hot grill.

If you are thinking of BBQ at the Drive-In, think again. Meats will be roasted in-house not smoked, there will be no BBQ. Also, one other item not available at Hi-Pointe Drive-In is a drive-thru window, like Del Taco used to have. You will need to walk in to enjoy their amazing burgers and sandwiches.

Also on the menu will be fries and flat-griddled burgers, beer and wine. Hi-Pointe Drive-In will seat 45-50 with a covered patio as part of the design. And for those of you who value upcycling, the restaurant will be built out of shipping containers.

Sugarfire Smoke House has several BBQ restaurant locations in Missouri including Olivette, St. Charles, Winghaven in O’Fallon, “44” Valley Park, Washington and Downtown St. Louis.

The Drive-In is located at 1033 McCausland, St. Louis, Missouri 63117. Hi-Pointe, is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri within a section of Dogtown, with an estimated population of 2200 people. Landmarks close to the new restaurant is the Hi-Pointe Theatre, which is undergoing its own renovations.
