August 11, 2017 (STL.News) – Fore Honor Foundation: Join the cause! Help share the Veteran PTSD Fundraising Campaign for the non-profit Fore Honor Foundation (#47=2592859) on “Go Fund Me” to continue an important, endearing, purpose-driven MISSION and VISION of HONOR, RESPECT, HEALING, & WELLNESS for our deserving Veterans and First Responders, launched by the Fore Honor Golf & Event Center, formerly Deer Creek USA.
Founded by Andrea Politte, patriotic mother of a 3x combat-wounded USMC son with extreme Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Parkinson’s disease, and other injuries affecting the rest of his life. Her son’s dedicated time in service and the effects he is left with have inspired Andrea to create a unique & special place FORE HONOR, RESPECT, HEALING, & WELLNESS for those who serve, promoting individual and community health and well-being, especially for those living with PTSD and TBI, and to raise awareness to the community of PTSD and its damaging effects and even PTSD suicide when left untreated.
The Fore Honor Foundation’s MISSION is to Honor, Respect, and Assist those who have Served, Protected, Defended, and Sacrificed to protect our freedoms, many of whom continue to put their lives on the line every day. The ultimate VISION is to enable injured American Heroes to live the best life they can, donating space to supportive organizations that offer assistance, resources, services, counseling, wellness programs, and activities for service- duty- or war-wounded sufferers of PTSD/TBI. The further vision is to create a unique memorial golf course, dedicating tee boxes and greens honoring each branch of service throughout the beautiful acreage. They aim to become the number one local venue for any type of Military, Veteran or First Responder social gathering: banquets, family reunions, organization meetings, sharing meals or drinks with friends and family, or playing a round of golf.
Fore Honor Golf & Event Center is open to the public! Formerly known as Deer Creek USA, the 30,000 sq. ft event center is a lovely chalet-style venue that can accommodate 50 to 500 guests indoors and more outdoors, for events of all kinds: weddings, ceremonies, corporate meetings, fundraisers, parties, dinners, banquets, and more. Guests can enjoy the 150-ft. balcony boasting grand views of the hills and golf course. The beautiful 90-acre golf course is a challenging 18-hole, par 71 course nestled in 200 acres of wooded hills. Currently, the Fore Honor Golf Course is the first of its kind to offer free Honor Memberships to all Military, Veterans, and First Responders. From 2014-2016, the golf course proudly awarded $50,000 in free daily green fee Honor Memberships! The course will become a place of remembrance, an Honor Park, where each guest can appreciate the life-size statuary and monuments abounding each tee box and green. When they swing their club, they can do so knowing that someone else had their back. Healing is received while they golf, utilizing nature’s Eco-therapy. (Eco-therapy is a natural proven stress reducer for PTSD.)
All event and tournament proceeds at the Fore Honor Golf & Event Center assist the Fore Honor Foundation in the Mission and Vision, to prove that together we can touch hearts and help heal lives.
“We believe that while giving Honor and Respect … We provide Hope and where there is Hope…. There can be Healing” – Andrea Politte, Owner, Founder, President, & CEO.
