ST. LOUIS, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – Watch out Dave and Busters! There’s some heavy competition coming to St. Louis, and this competition comes in the form of lights, action and sound! Joining St. Louis will be a bar that specializes in arcade games. Meet Start Bar, which is predicted to open in late June 2016 and conveniently located downtown at 1000 Spruce Street.

The 5,000 square foot facility will house a plethora of old-school arcade games, including Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man and NBA Jam, pinball machines and even skee-Ball games. Additionally, Start Bar offers a wide selection of local beers, craft beers, specialty cocktails, boozy milkshakes, snow cones and soda. For those wanting more of a dining experience, the bar also offers homemade pizzas and goodies, such as a Cheetos Marshmallow Crispy, and a candy bar. Start Bar offers more than just the average environment of tvs, bar stools and alcohol; it introduces interactive electronics, high-end art and pop-culture memorabilia mixed with one-of-a-kind drinks and eats.

The bar’s owners, Stephen Savage, Jared Ater, Nick Del Gaiso and Lou Groff, are no rookies to crowd-pleasing, as they also own the Wheelhouse Sports Bar and Nightclub, located directly next door. Patrons can easily bounce back and forth between the two establishments for the maximum entertainment experience. For those searching for something new, something different and exciting, search no more. Start Bar is coming soon!
