Google News is a news aggregator available on Android and iOS apps and a desktop website.

Google News is a news blog aggregator that offers a mobile app.  It provides a constant flow of news from Google-approved news providers.  It is available for Android and iOS as on their website.

Google News beta version began in September 2002 and was officially released in January 2006.  The idea is credited to Krishna Bharat.

According to Wikipedia, in 2013, Google News watched more than 50,000 news sources across the globe, aggregating news from approximately 25,000 news publishers.  For English, Google News covers about 4,500 news sites and fewer for other languages.

As of 2015, Google News offers news from over 60 regions in an estimated 35 languages, including Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Cantonese, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malayalam, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian & Vietnamese.
