Olivino Talks Health Benefits with CVB Family Tour and Offers Tasting
St. Charles, MO/September 30, 2017 (STL.News)–We live in a society that is becoming more and more health conscious every day because we’re finally realizing that eating right and exercising play such an important role in how we feel and how we age. Olivino Tasting Bar, located at 1650 Beale Street in the Streets of St. Charles, has been one step ahead of the rest of us by touting and selling products that they know can help keep us healthy.
The eclectic little shop carries ultra-premium extra virgin olive oils (EVOO) from around the world and balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy. The health benefits of olive oil are unrivaled, and research continues to reveal more benefits almost every day. Olive oil is the cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet — an essential nutritional mainstay in some of the world’s longest-living cultures.
On Tuesday, October 3 at 1:45 pm, Olivino will be giving an education session on their olive oils, balsamic vinegars, the shop, and the benefit to healthy living and cooking in the multipurpose room of the Residences at The Streets of St. Charles (1650 Beale St.) to the Greater St. Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau Ambassadors (22 Volunteers). They are coming through on a Familiarization Trip to the area.
This group of volunteers is on the front line of contact at the Visitors Center 7-days a week and assists at the Convention Center in exploring businesses and directing folks to all that St. Charles has to offer.
The special presentation will include tips and a tasting of a few bottles of both olive oils & balsamic vinegars for the group to sample.
Olivino Tasting Bar also carries gourmet food items and lots of interesting gifts from local vendors and artists, as well as specialty items such as rubs, salts, seasonings, olives, pasta, and a variety of unique serving dishes.
