In fact all of their special sauces including their Queso Blanco (White Cheese) Dip, spicy red sauce, and their Los Chavez Special sauces have a flavorful and a most distinctive taste.
Their most popular signature specialty dish is their Chile Relleno (A poblano pepper stuffed with cheese, dipped in batter and deep-fried, and smothered in their special cheese sauce). A favorite from the grille that keeps patrons returning to this restaurant is their Fish Tacos (Three flour tortillas filled with grilled fish and garnished with shredded cabbage and Los Chavez special sauce). Other specialties include: Chimichanga (A large flour tortilla stuffed with beans and your choice of meat, deep fried to a golden brown and smothered in cheese dip, lettuce and tomatoes.); Ultimate Burrito (Your choice of meat and beans, rolled into a large flour tortilla and served enchilada style.); Carne Adova Burrito (Large flour tortilla stuffed with marinated pork in a red chile sauce topped with cheese.); Arroz Con Pollo (A bed of rice topped with grilled chicken and covered in cheese dip served with flour tortillas.); Tacos Fritos (Three tacos, deep fried in a flour tortilla shell, filled with your choice of meat, lettuce tomatoes, and cheese.); Huevos Rancheros (Two fried eggs served on a warm tortilla topped with a spicy red sauce and cheese); and for the big appetite or the undecided, the Los Chavez Special (One crispy ground beef taco, one cheese quesadilla, one ground beef burrito covered in queso cheese dip); and ground beef mini nachos served with a side of sour cream and guacamole.
A variety of one-three item Combination Plates with traditional favorites (most created with cheddar cheese) include Tamales, Tacos, Flautas, Quesadillas, Enchiladas, Burritos and Tostadas. Two side choices come with each combination plate and include their signature homemade seasoned rice, beans, black beans (which are the whole bean, not mashed or pureed), and/or papitas (small square cut crispy tasty potatoes).
They also offer fajitas and salads and a nice selection of appetizers that include:
Queso Blanco Cheese Dip; Queso Fundo Con Chorizo (A plate of Queso Blanco cheese melted with chorizo or ground beef. Served with flour tortillas); Nachos; Homemade Guacamole; Pico De Gallo; Southwest Fries (Crispy French fries with your choice of meat, covered in cheese dip and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, and sour cream); Jalapeno Poppers; Chicken Wings, Breaded Mushrooms; Quesadillas; and a sampler platter.

Their sweet tooth culinary creations include: Fried Ice Cream; Flan (Carmel served with warm traditional homemade Mexican custard sauce); Cheese Cake (Thick slice of home-made cheese cake topped with cinnamon, sugar and dulce de leche syrup.); Empanada (A crisp, flaky tortilla filled with cinnamon, apples, peach, or sweet cherries lightly fried and topped with cinnamon, sugar, caramel or chocolate sauce and whipped cream.); and their family’s Sopapilla (a light warm Mexican pastry sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar served with ice cream).
The lunch and dinner portion sizes are generous and are reasonably priced. They also have carryout value dinner packs if you don’t want to cook or want to impress your friends, guests or entertain colleagues at parties or special gatherings.
