Elaia and five other St. Louis restaurants rated Four Diamonds

ST. LOUIS, MO/February 2, 2017 (STLRestaurant.News) – Elaia has received a Four Diamond rating from AAA.  It was given to the restaurant in January 2017.  18 restaurants and resorts in the St. Louis region appear on AAA’s Four Diamond restaurant or resort list.

You will find six area restaurants including Cielo, with a Four Diamond rating, Giovanni’s on The Hill, Sidney Street Cafe, Tony’s and The Grill.  Market first appeared in 2012 on the list, but has since shut its doors.  Giovanni has appeared on the list for the longest period, with 28 years in the Four Diamond rating.  However, the restaurant is now closed carrying out a fire this month.

This year no new local resorts were added to the four diamonds list.  The last year a brand new resort was added was in 2015, with a complete of four new St. Louis region resorts added that year.  For 2017, 41 eateries and 88 resorts were recently the AAA Four Diamond added to the list, relating to AAA.  A total of 2, 280 institutions through the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean obtained Four Diamond evaluations last year, qualifying them for the 2017 list.

Companies submit to routine in person property reviews by AAA to earn the evaluation.  Resorts and restaurants could additionally be given a Five Diamond rating, which will be the best evaluation AAA offers, but none in the Metro East or Missouri have earned it.
