Candicci’s Restaurant and Bar in Ballwin will host a fundraiser for Michelle Arthur on October 8 beginning at 5 pm, whereby, 10% of sales will be donated to Arthur family
Ballwin, MO (STL.News) According to the St Louis Post Dispatch, in an article dated, September 27, Menards employee, Michelle Arthur, 49, was injured on September 25 at the Menards located at 14161 Manchester Road in Ballwin, MO, when she was struck by a car driven by a fleeing shoplifter escaping the scene.
Arthur is married to Joe Arthur, a firefighter for Metro West Fire Protection District. Firefighters and the community are pooling together to help the family during this difficult time.
Bob Diamante, a Menards employee and long-time friend of Bob Candice, owner of Candicc’s Restaurant and Bar has helped arrange the “Dine Out” fundraiser. Candicci’s, also located in the Ballwin community and known for helping those in need and has once again stepped up to help by creating a “Dine Out” fundraiser for the Arthur family.
On Tuesday, October 08, 2019, beginning at 5 pm to close, Candicci’s will donate 10% of all sales to the family to help pay for medical expenses as well as other expenses the family will incur during Arthurs’ recovery.
Candicci’s has been serving fine authentic Italian cuisines to the St. Louis community for almost 40 years and frequently performs community “Dine Out” programs to help pull the community together and assist those in need, which has also benefited long-time employee, Darrell Russell, who lost his home three years ago.
It’s a great way to enjoy an evening with loved one, while helping another family of loved in a difficult time.
