Wicked Greenz – Making Healthy-Eating Easier
CLAYTON, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – There’ s plenty of reasons to want to dine in Clayton. And soon, there’ll be just one more…and this one is quite a crafty collaboration. It’s a new, fast casual restaurant with a novel concept. Wicked Greenz will link chef-driven, healthy food with incredibly fast service, and delivery. And the three partners, Justin Haifley, Chris Sedlak, and Matt Ratz, all have their particular roles. Haifley, formerly of The Tavern and Cucina Pazzo, is the partner in charge of the unusual menu, a mix of soups, salads, and “grips,” hand-held salads. Sedlak and Ratz, both with extensive restaurant resumes, are the operational partners. Ratz was a previous Jimmy John’s area manager.
In this fast paced world with everyone on the go, it’ll be a game-changer for people on a tight schedule. Combine that with the health-conscious aspect and you’ve got a winner for sure. Haifley has been working on refining the menu since last year. On the menu… a mix of around a dozen Chef Crafted Salads, twelve Steam Kettle Soups and Chowders, and half a dozen side dishes. Two size salads will be offered with a recommended dressing and protein but can be customized with any of the other numerous salad dressings along with blackened shrimp, citrus grilled salmon, herbed rotisserie chicken or grilled backyard steak.
TV-based menu boards will be scattered around the 60 seats for customers to order their super fresh and super- fast foods from. You’ll be able to grab-and-go from prepared items in a display case, or choose to stay and dine in. The partners are aiming for a mid-July opening date for the new place at 16 N. Central, former location of Bocci Wine Bar. And in the future…don’t be surprised to see multiple, Wicked Greenz.
