Atmus Raises 2026 Outlook After Record Q2

NASHVILLE, TN – August 7, 2026 (STL.News) Atmus Filtration Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ATMU) reported record second-quarter 2026 financial results on Friday, delivering higher revenue, stronger earnings, and raising its full-year outlook as demand remained resilient across its global filtration businesses.

The company reported:

Second Quarter 2026 Highlights

Metric Q2 2026
Net Sales $528 million
Adjusted EPS $0.82
Guidance Raised for full-year 2026

The results represent another record quarter for the Nashville-based manufacturer, which has continued expanding both organically and through acquisitions while benefiting from strength in aftermarket filtration products and industrial applications.

Strong operating performance

Management credited the quarter’s performance to continued execution across both of its operating segments, improved operating efficiencies, and healthy customer demand.

Atmus serves a broad range of industries including:

  • Commercial trucking
  • Construction equipment
  • Agriculture
  • Mining
  • Marine
  • Power generation
  • Industrial HVAC
  • Data centers

Its business is divided into two primary segments:

  • Power Solutions, led by the well-known Fleetguard brand serving heavy-duty transportation markets.
  • Industrial Solutions, anchored by Koch Filter products serving commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and rapidly growing data center markets.

The acquisition of Koch Filter earlier this year significantly expanded Atmus’ exposure beyond traditional vehicle filtration into higher-growth industrial filtration markets, providing additional diversification and long-term growth opportunities.

Outlook improves

Perhaps the biggest takeaway for investors was management’s decision to increase full-year 2026 guidance.

Companies generally raise annual guidance only when executives have confidence that current business trends will continue, making the announcement one of the strongest signals from Friday’s earnings report.

Although industrial manufacturers continue to face uncertainties including global trade conditions, supply chain costs, and fluctuating capital spending, Atmus indicated that current demand trends remain favorable.

About Atmus

Atmus Filtration Technologies became an independent publicly traded company after being spun off from Cummins in 2023.

Today, the company employs nearly 5,000 people worldwide and has more than 65 years of engineering and filtration expertise.

Its products remove contaminants from engines, industrial equipment, commercial buildings, and other critical systems where clean air and clean fluids are essential to equipment performance and longevity.

The company serves customers on six continents and continues investing in both new filtration technologies and expanding industrial markets.

Growing beyond heavy-duty transportation

While Fleetguard remains one of the company’s most recognized brands, Atmus has increasingly focused on expanding its industrial filtration business.

The addition of Koch Filter strengthened the company’s presence in commercial HVAC systems, clean manufacturing environments, healthcare facilities, and rapidly expanding data center infrastructure.

These markets generally offer attractive long-term growth prospects as demand increases for cleaner air, higher energy efficiency, and improved environmental performance.

Management has also continued investing in new filtration media technologies designed to improve equipment protection while extending service intervals for customers.

What investors will watch

Following Friday’s earnings release, investors are expected to focus on several issues during the remainder of 2026:

  • Execution of the Koch Filter integration.
  • Continued margin improvement.
  • Growth within Industrial Solutions.
  • Demand trends in the global trucking market.
  • Performance in data center and HVAC filtration.

Successfully executing on these priorities could further strengthen Atmus’ position as a diversified filtration technology company rather than one tied solely to heavy-duty transportation markets.

Market reaction

The earnings report reinforced the company’s steady operational momentum, with record quarterly sales, strong adjusted earnings, and a higher full-year forecast demonstrating continued execution.

For investors, the raised outlook may prove even more significant than the record quarter itself, as it suggests management believes favorable business conditions can continue through the balance of 2026.

As industrial companies navigate an evolving global economy, Atmus appears well positioned with a diversified portfolio spanning transportation, industrial filtration, commercial HVAC, and rapidly growing data center applications. Friday’s results suggest those investments are beginning to generate meaningful returns while supporting continued earnings growth.
