Golf to raise funds for Project Wake Up

BALLWIN, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – Bob Candice, manager of Candicci’s Restaurant and Bar, located at 100 Holloway Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011, has announced his support for and respectfully request the support of the community to help raise money for Project Wake Up.

Project Wake Up was created after Bob Candice and Denise Candice lost their son, Ryan Candice, to suicide.  Friends of Ryan created this charity, a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization, established to raise funds to pay for the creation of a documentary intended to help eradicate the stigma of mental illness.

Since Ryan’s passing, his friends have been busy educating the public about their loss, and what they want to accomplish to help deal with Ryan’s passing and to help prevent loosing anybody to suicide, now the second leading cause of death among teens.  An honorable ambition that has attracted much well deserved attention.

To raise money Project Wake Up has announced that they will host an Inagural Golf Tournament and silent auction, Saturday, August 6, 2016 beginning at 11:00 am.  Details can be found at the Eventbrite Event Page.  However, if you cannot participate in the golf tournament, please donate money at the GoFundMe Page.  Additional information about the golf tournament can be found at https://www.facebook.com/events/497749603753578/
