St. Louis Couple, Robert Gibson, Wife, Cash In on $375,000 Jackpot

St Louis, MO (STL.News) – Robert Gibson was recently working on a car in his garage when his wife brought him the news that they had matched all five winning numbers for the May 24 Show Me Cash drawing.

“She came out, and I could tell it was something really major,” Robert said.  “She was holding the ticket in her hand.  Naturally, we went over the ticket and the numbers, then got on the computer and confirmed it.”

Gibson’s wife purchased the ticket at 7-Eleven, 6909 Southwest Ave., in St. Louis.  The winning numbers were 4, 9, 10, 30, and 33. By matching those five numbers, the Gibsons won a jackpot of $375,000.

Robert said he and his wife are “pretty stoked,” and will put some of the prize into their home and some into their retirement.

The Gibsons’ ticket marks the 20th time a jackpot-winning Show Me Cash ticket has been sold in 2019, with an average jackpot prize of more than $183,000.

Missourians have won more than $3.8 million worth of Show Me Cash jackpots this year, and more than $88 million since sales for the Draw Game began in 2008.  Tonight’s Show Me Cash jackpot is an estimated $275,000.
