St Charles News: Human Trafficking: A Global Tragedy, St Charles, Missouri

St. Charles, MO – Jan. 30, 2019 – Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service Social Justice in Action will present Marti MacGibbon, Internationally Acclaimed Award-Winning Author and Human Trafficking Advocate on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service located at 4116 McClay Road in St. Charles, Missouri.

Marti MacGibbon will bring her high powered story of “Human Trafficking: Victim to Triumphant Survivor,” a testimony to the power of the human spirit.  Marti’s high energy presentation speaks of overcoming adversity, addiction and recovery and inspires you with humor.  She offers simple, effective strategies that anyone can use to get back on track, build resiliency, reduce stress and cultivate a sense of humor.

The event is free and open to the public.  Ms. MacGibbon will hold a book signing at the close of the event.

There will be a special musical performance by the Maryville University Gospel Choir.
