Thanksgiving Meal Ideas from Olivino Tasting Bar

ST. CHARLES, MO/November 19, 2017 (STL.News) Thanksgiving is all about bringing family and friends together in a special way!  This traditional holiday involves giving thanks for all the blessings that have been bestowed upon us throughout the year.  It also usually always involves a very large meal.

Some of the holiday staples are turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce but this year, Olivino Tasting Bar is giving you the opportunity to try out some new recipes.  This Monday evening they will be holding a special “Our Table Runneth Over” event.  Guests will have opportunities to taste some delicious foods that you might not have thought about putting on your regular menu.

When was the last time you thought about making White Truffle Whipped Potatoes?  Or instead of that regular stuffing, what about wowing your guests with Wild Mushroom & Sage Stuffing?  Or wouldn’t it be fun to come up with a Thanksgiving dessert that no one else has thought about making?

Using their ultra-premium extra virgin olive oils (EVOO) from around the world and aged balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy, they will show you many creative ideas that will make your Thanksgiving dinner stand out like never before!

And with Christmas right around the corner and shopping on everyone’s minds, you might find a gift or two while you’re visiting Olivino Tasting Bar.  They offer wines from Noboleis Vineyard in Augusta, and carry certain gourmet food items and gifts from local vendors.  They also carry a number of specialty items such as rubs, salts, seasonings, olives, different kinds of pasta, and a variety of distinctive serving dishes.

You might be looking for a non-food holiday gift but that’s not a problem.  Their shelves are also lined with unique products like olive oil lotions, shampoo & conditioners, body wash, soaps, and even candles!  Gift baskets and gift certificates are also available.

So mark your calendars and stop by this Monday, November 20, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  Your guests will “oooh and ahhh” over some of the exciting new, creative recipes that you serve them for Thanksgiving dinner.
