Missouri Governor Greitens Makes Six Appointments to Boards & Commissions

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (STL.News) Today, Governor Greitens made six appointments to boards and commissions.

Kenneth Lovelace, of Palmyra, was appointed to the State Soil and Water Districts Commission.

Lovelace is the owner and operator of Lovelace Farms. He is the Past President of the Missouri Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, and he has represented the State of Missouri at the National Association of Conservation Districts.

Luke LeGrand, of Cape Girardeau, was appointed as the student representative of the Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents.

LeGrand is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. He is a Student Worker in the Office of the President. LeGrand is a member of the Student Government Association, Presidential Ambassadors, and Lambda Chi Alpha.

William Miller, of Sullivan, was appointed as the student representative of the Missouri State University Board of Governors.

Miller is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in administrative management with a minor in marketing. He is a Peer Advisor at the Missouri State University Career Center. Miller is involved in the Student Affairs Advisory Board, the Student Organization Funding Allocation Council, and Enactus.

Michael McClaskey, of Castle Pines, Colo., was appointed to the Truman State University Board of Governors as an out-of-state member.

McClaskey retired from DISH Network Corporation as the Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University. McClaskey earned his master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Stephen Kenny, of Neosho, was appointed to the Missouri Real Estate Commission.

Kenny is a broker/salesperson at CJR Red Carpet Realtors. He serves as an Advisory Board Member for Neosho Land Development, and he chairs the Risk Management Mission Committee for the Missouri Realtors Association. Kenny is involved in the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce and the Neosho Area Business & Industry Foundation, Inc.

Dana Lopez, of Ozark, was appointed to the Missouri State Foster Care and Adoption Board.

Lopez co-founded Dogwood Ranch, a non-profit organization which provides long-term services for at-risk foster youth. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Vanguard University. Lopez is a member of the Foster Adopt Parent Advisory Board.
