On Thursday Lucid Realty was honored for the fifth consecutive year by The Chicago Association of REALTORS® for ranking in the top 1% of Chicago area real estate teams in 2018. With $52 Million in closings, Lucid Realty was one of only three teams recognized at the Silver Level based upon these most recent rankings. Lucid Realty has also been recognized as a top Chicago REALTOR® team for nine consecutive years.
Chicago REALTOR® Magazine states that the 2018 Sales Awards “honor the achievements of our Top Producers, in addition to the collective efforts of our members to bring the highest level of professionalism, ethics, commitment and service to buyers and sellers in Chicagoland.”
Gary Lucido, President of Lucid Realty, noted how hundreds of millions of dollars in venture funding is pouring into the disruption of the traditional real estate industry and this is helping propel Lucid Realty’s growth: “Increasing skepticism of high cost, obsolete business models have transformed the real estate business in recent years and enabled us to grow our business by 27% in 2018. Despite Lucid Realty’s top producer status Gary believes the label is often overvalued by the consumer. In reality, high sales volume can actually hinder good customer service without the right people and process in place. Home buyers and sellers would be well advised to focus on exactly what agents do for their clients and what the cost of those services are. Then, once hired, a real estate agent should be held accountable for delivering what they promised. Consumers should be highly skeptical of vague claims that you get what you pay for and look beyond the slick sales pitches. Online ratings found on sites like Yelp, Angie’s List, Google, Trulia, and Zillow are a great place to start.
