Five Things You Need to Know about the New Krieger’s Sports Grill

TWIN OAKS, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) Krieger’s Sports Grill: Every now and then a restaurant that’s been around forever gets new ownership, yet fails to get noticed for its own impressive individuality.  It’s hard to shed the old reputation when people aren’t aware of all the new awesome changes.  One perfect example of that is Your Hometown Krieger’s Sports Grill in Twin Oaks. .

Dave McDonald took over the ownership last September and has been implementing major changes ever since.  Besides making big changes to the look of the place, which is still in progress, he added 44 flat screen TV’s.  There’s not an angle of that important game that you’re going to miss!

Another considerable change is they now offer 33 craft beers on draft.  That’s one of the largest selections at any bar in the St Louis area.  It’s a beer lovers dream come true!  And there’s also always something exciting going on at Krieger’s.  The bar & grill now hosts game day specials for local sports teams and expanded Happy Hours with fun specials.  I can tell you firsthand ladies, the Chocolate Martini is to die for!!!

Dave has also made huge changes in the kind of foods the restaurant sells. Out with the frozen, and in with the fresh.  All items are now the freshest quality and all their hand breaded items are breaded in house.  He’s also in talks to hopefully be able to start carrying all local produce.

Awesome new menu items are getting the thumbs up.  A few examples are the new Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich with sautéed mushrooms, provel cheese and horseradish mayo, or the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich, a fried chicken breast with cheddar cheese, ranch dressing and bacon, lettuce and tomato.  The new skillet cookie is an amazing addition.  Cooked in a skillet to perfection, it’s topped with soft vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup on top.  And if you haven’t tasted the newest version of their toasted ravioli, you’re really missing out.  They are some of the best in St. Louis.  Each one is handmade and then hand breaded with Dave’s own special recipe.

The best need to know of all is your Hometown Krieger’s Sports Grill in Twin Oaks now has online ordering!  That’s right!  Just download the app & get a free drink, and you’ll be ready to place an order from anywhere.  Krieger’s wants to help make your life more convenient.  Now they’re at your service with the tap of a button on your phone.

Krieger’s continues to have one of the rarest policies around.  Their kitchen stays open for their full menu until a few minutes before closing.  That’s hard to find anywhere.  So, after a long night of partying when it’s close to midnight Monday thru Thursday, or almost 1 AM on Friday or Saturdays, and you’re starving and want some really good chow, forget having to search for an open drive-thru.

If you haven’t had a chance to stop in for a “New Krieger’s Experience,” you’ll want to do so soon.  You won’t be disappointed!
