Come Out For a Fun Time at the 2017 Taste of Maplewood Street Festival
MAPLEWOOD, MO/May 10, 2017 (STLRestaurant.News) Along with springtime comes enjoyable festivals and one that’s just around the corner is the 2017 Taste of Maplewood Street Festival. The annual event is a culmination of Maplewood and Richmond Heights’ most prominent restaurants, their unique specialty stores, and some of their most cherished boutiques.
In its ninth year, this exciting event is diverse and unique, shining a spotlight on the culture and character of the businesses in the area. The Taste of Maplewood Street Festival is the perfect event for shoppers, food aficionados and music lovers! Restaurants will be selling their popular foods and drinks, and boutiques will be presenting their merchandise on the street and under tents.
In addition, attendees will enjoy live entertainment on two separate stages throughout the day. And for the 4th year in a row, there will be celebrity judges on hand voting on which business has the finest offerings. Categories for participating restaurants in the 2017 Taste of Maplewood Street Festival are Best Savory, Best Sweet Tooth and Best Cocktail.
Celebrity Judges will be: KSDK News Anchor, Pat McGonigle, Social Media Guru & Former Host of Food Talk STL radio show, David Craig, & Gus Gus the Fun Bus’s, Mike Arnold. A few of this year’s registered venders are Boardwalk Waffles & Ice Cream, Kakao Chocolate, Know Gallery of Fine Art, PRP Wine International, Sole Shine Barefoot Massage Therapy, The Blue Duck and Traveling Tea.
So, be sure and put Saturday, May 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm on your calendar for the “9th Annual Taste of Maplewood.” The event is free and full of yummy bites, awesome sights and great sounds!
