St Louis Restaurant Week – Still three courses, now $25 or $35
ST. LOUIS, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) St Louis Restaurant Week – Diners in St. Louis are in for another tasty, budget-friendly adventure during Downtown Restaurant Week 2016. The annual culinary event runs September 19-25. As always, the 2016 event gives diners a chance to enjoy a three-course meal (appetizer, entree, and dessert) for a fixed price at some of the city’s finest restaurants.
Some crowd favorites are back with the same tasty menus as last year, but in some cases they’ll cost a little more. Seven of the restaurants have stuck with the traditional $25 price tag. Eleven have bumped the price up to $35. And three are offering both $25 and $35 menus. Prices don’t include taxes or tips. Diners can add an “extra helping” donation of $5 or more for Operation Food Search.
New this year are Al’s Restaurant at 1200 North 1st Street, offering steak, seafood, and pasta; The Boom Boom Room at 500 North 14th Street, featuring French cuisine and a burlesque show with your meal; J.F. Sanfilipo’s Italian Restaurant at 705 North Broadway; and the Wheelhouse at 1000 Spruce Street serving American cuisine in a 10,000 square foot sports bar and nightclub. Some familiar faces notably missing include Prime 1000, Mike Shannon’s Steaks and Seafood, and Joe Buck’s, which all closed in the last year.
Other 2015 participants missing from the list this year: Blondie’s Coffee, Wine and Dessert Bar; Copia Restaurant and Urban Winery; the Budweiser Brew House; and Fox Sports Midwest Live.
Just as in other years, there are no passes or special coupons required to dine at any of the participating restaurants, but with the event drawing more than 15,000 people annually, reservations are strongly encouraged!
