Columbia Missouri News: Four arrests made in shooting near Fifth Street, Broadway on May 11

COLUMBIA, MO (STL.News) – Columbia Police arrested four (4) suspects in connection with a shooting near the intersection of Fifth Street and Broadway on Saturday, May 11 that resulted in a victim sustaining injuries that were not life-threatening.

Damion Hunt, 26, of Columbia was arrested and charged with Assault 1st, Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Eddie Hunt, 21, of Columbia was arrested and charged with Assault 1st, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and a Probation and Parole violation on an original charge of Domestic Assault. Caleb Hunt, 21, of Columbia was arrested and charged with Assault 1st, Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.  Robert Carter, 26, of Columbia was arrested and charged with Assault 1st and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Due to the swift response and thorough investigation, CPD was able to identify all of the suspects in this case and place them under arrest.  All four suspects are being held in the Boone County Jail with bond to be set.
