A rocket launch by North Korea has been branded a “clear violation” of UN Security Council resolutions by South Korea.
Japan’s coastguard said North Korea launched a projectile that landed west of Aomori prefecture in northern Japan.
In response, the South Korean military conducted a live-fire test of multiple ballistic and tactical missiles in what it called an immediate response.
