BSF shoots Pak drone in Punjab’s Ferozepur; Bid to smuggle drugs foiled, 4 kg heroin seized

Border Security Force (BSF) downed a Pakistani quadcopter (drone) in the Ferozpur sector of Punjab carrying contraband items.  The BSF, in a statement, said that at about 2.55 am, border troops deployed in the Forward area heard a humming sound of a suspicious flying object coming from Pakistan towards India in the AOR Ferozpur sector.  The BSF said that the troops were immediately alerted, and they fired on the flying object and also illuminated the area by firing Para bombs, leading to the downing of the drone.
