2016 St. Louis Renaissance Festival
WENTZVILLE, MO: (STL.News) – St. Louis’ Renaissance Festival returns in 2016 starting on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 through to Sunday, October 16th, 2016. The St. Louis Renaissance Festival will be open on weekends from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm whether there be rain or sunshine. This long-standing event offers great exciting adventures offering the public a chance to take a step back into the Renaissance. Attendees can expect to step into a 16th century French village, which the St. Louis Renaissance Festival named Petit Lyon. Each weekend will celebrate a theme, and there will be 12 stages of live entertainment to enjoy including armored knights jousting live! The St. Louis Renaissance Festival invites you to browse over 100 shoppes offering local artisan goods. Feast on the great food and drinks and enjoy the festivities of the 2016 St. Louis Renaissance Festival!
Please be aware that the St. Louis Renaissance Festival prohibits antique firearms, axes, claymores, guns, halberds, maces, and pikes on the premise. Longbows, swords, knives, dirks and daggers are permitted, but only to be worn as costume and not used. Arrows are only allowed for those competing in the longbow competition, any other arrows with tips are prohibited.
